We recently had a request regarding a carbon fiber rifle barrel. This type of material behaves differently from other metals when interacting with a radar.

This type of material absorbs radar signals. So when using a rifle with carbon fibre components, finding that sweet spot just means you have to make an adjustment.
We suggest that you position your bracket upwards 90-110 degrees then mount your BULLETSEEKER.
This provides a better detection angle while adjusting for the carbon fiber interaction with the radar. Below is a photo of the recommended mounting.

As well, if you are using a suppressor, it is ideal to add a Parabolic Adapter to your BULLETSEEKER. As discussed in previous posts, this enables the BULLETSEEKER to detect the shot 3m beyond the muzzle.

If you have any questions, always let us know how we can help you with your positioning. We have a 100% success rate helping people find the sweet spot on their equipment!
