During the recent Webinar, a problem was mentioned about the device loosing detections as the shot string progressed. I have experienced this, and this picture shows my at range fix. Simply use a rubber band to apply a little rearward pressure to the adapter if the thumb screw loosens a bit. This also makes the thumb screw less likely to loosen.
The screw is inadequate for my 7mm PRC, but I found that electrical tape was very effective in keeping the parabolic on mine.
